The basic principle of outreach/discipleship is teaching others what you have been taught. There are four spiritual generations mentioned in this verse: Paul, who taught Timothy, who was to teach faithful men, who were to teach other faithful men. This is the way of perpetuating the truth in the ministry. Teach people, who will teach people, who will teach people. . .

Roswell HS Mentor Program
The Roswell HS mentoring program is a one-on-one mentoring program for adults who are interested in making a difference in the lives of our students. The program pairs an adult with a student who may be in need of a little TLC. The students who are chosen are not students who get in trouble or are failing all of their classes, they are students who just need a caring adult to pay a bit of attention and help motivate them to be the best that they can be.
All mentors (new and existing) will need to complete the online Mandated Reporter training to be registered as a Volunteer with our school system. You can access this online training here. (click “Register to volunteer).
The students will start meeting with their mentors on Tuesday, September 12th.
The RHS Mentoring program meets EVERY TUESDAY in the Media Center from 4:00-5:00pm.
Please help us to spread the word among veteran mentors and anyone who may be interested in joining our mentor program as a NEW mentor for the 2017-2018 School Year.
For information on how to get involved in the mentor program contact Pastor Jean Shumate at email@example.com.
Assisted Living Evergreen Ministries
remains green and functional through more than one growing season
enduring; retaining its relevance and usefulness
In 1 Timothy 5, Paul instructs Timothy to treat older men as fathers and older women as mothers. He did so not only because of their well learned respect but also for their ability to impart discernment and wisdom upon the next generation. our passion is to reach the aging members living in retirement communities all across our city to remind them of God’s love and continued activity in their lives. Psalm 92: 14
They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, to declare that the Lord is upright…
